Therapy

I specialize with four communities:

First Responders, Entrepreneurs, Non Conformists & My Indigenous relations

My modalities are mostly in Somatic and Narrative based therapy, I have chosen to specialize in EMDR and Parts work because I have seen them be very effective to help people move through tough times in life and begin to feel good quicker and more effectively than most other way.

My goal: To come alongside you in ways were you can be understood and see you feel empowered and well. That way you can be who the world needs you to be.

Therapy modalities - Telehealth only (Currently)

EMDR, IFS, Narrative & Somatic

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective therapeutic approach designed to help you process and move past traumatic experiences that may be trapped. EMDR facilitates the reprocessing of distressing memories, allowing the brain to integrate these experiences in a healthy way.

The effectiveness of EMDR is rooted in its ability to address the way trauma is stored in the brain and body. Rather than solely focusing on the cognitive aspects of the experience, EMDR recognizes the physical and emotional dimensions, leading to a more holistic healing process. You can reclaim your narrative and foster resilience, ultimately leading to improved mental health and well-being.

Talk Therapy

Talk therapy is a therapeutic approach that provides individuals with the opportunity to explore their personal narratives. Through guided conversations with me, we can delve into your past experiences, feelings, and thoughts, which contributes to a deeper understanding of how you arrived at your current circumstances. This process helps you to identify and clarify your values, beliefs, and aspirations.

Talk therapy is not just about recounting experiences; it's a collaborative journey where you can discuss your goals, work through obstacles, and cultivate a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment in your life.

In Person (Currently not available)

In-person therapy that integrates activity and movement can create a unique and impactful experience for clients. This approach often involves walking, engaging in physical activities, or utilizing somatic practices to facilitate healing and communication. By incorporating movement, therapy sessions take on a more casual atmosphere that can help reduce anxiety and foster openness.

Somatic therapy, which focuses on the mind-body connection, further enhances this experience. By tuning into bodily sensations, individuals can uncover trauma stored in the body, allowing for profound healing. This body-based modality complements traditional talk therapy, providing an alternative path for those who may find it difficult to express themselves verbally.
